The
house:
Lovely
turn of the century Lakeland stone house - completely private and
set in an acre of sunny secluded garden, Low Fell nestles behind
a high stone wall and is surrounded by gloriously mature trees and
shrubs.
The
location:
Ideally located just a stones throw (well, OK, a five minute stroll)
from the shores of Lake Windermere - one of the most beautiful and
most interesting of all the lakes in Europe - and from the village
of Bowness on Windermere and the fells behind the house.
Parking:
Ample and safe parking for up to 6 cars in our concealed private
drive.
Breakfast:
Delicious breakfasts with lots of choice from traditional English
to aga pancakes with lashings of maple syrup - and warm home made
bread.
Bedrooms:
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests in 3 bedrooms - all
are en suite - please see relevant pages for more details...
Huge and heavenly 6ft beds, (choice of bedlinen and pillows to suit
your personal likes and dislikes!) flat screen TV, DVD players and
wireless broadband internet access.
Tariff:
We charge the same rate for all our accommodation - ... please see
tariff page.
Families:
We welcome children over the age of 10, but please do ask, we're
flexible and have a super 4 roomed hideaway in the loft - absolutely
perfect for friends and family travelling together... - or for a
romantic weekend for 2!
Please,
the house is a non-smoking environment (but we don't mind puffers
in the bushes!)
And
last but not least, we don't pretend to be anything we're not! -
no pretension, no photos taken from strange angles, no hidden noisy
main roads, no promises of champagne, chocolates, welcoming sherry
or dubious spa baths - we simply aim to provide you with really
good bed and breakfast, in a lovely home, at a fair price.
And we'd be delighted to think that like our many returning guests
who've become our friends over the years, that you'll agree...
